of Cultural Affairs honors Theater Garden by more than doubling
their funding to us for 2007. This increased DCA grant will help us
bring more of our original curriculum-based programs to students in
the most underserved communities.

September 15, 2006: Theater Garden's CASA grant from the Department of Youth & Community Development has been renewed for its second year. Starting in October, Theater Garden will again offer after-school theater programs to students in Washington Heights.
July 4, 2006: A PIP Production of Liberty, The Musical is scheduled for October at The Workshop Theater Company, NYC.

March 3, 2006: First Lady opens its second season! The tri-state tour begins in Greenlawn, Long Island.
February 15, 2006: Theater Garden is awarded grants from The Department of Cultural Affairs in New York City and from the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development. The DYCD Grant will allow Theater Garden to offer educational workshops in partnership with The Children's Aid Society at I.S. 90 in Washington Heights.
